These foods are made with top quality ingredients and contain less starchy fillers. Of course, not all premium cat foods are equal so you will have to check the list of ingredients to see which one is best for your cat. Some things to keep in mind are that you want the protein source to be from real meat (not meat by-products) and the first ingredient(s) listed should be meat as cats need a higher protein to carbohydrate ration in their diet. Also avoid foods that have preservatives and artificial ingredients such as corn meal.
